Intro / COVID-19

We are seeing a big increase in the number of in-person Burner gatherings being shared. With COVID restrictions easing up and vaccines starting to kick in, admins have decided to start publishing these events to official lists again. Today the threat of the virus is reduced and better understood, but damage to mental wellness is still a great risk, and people want to meet. We're trying to find a balance between inclusivity, social responsibility, and social connection while transmission rates are down and Burner energy is up

Please keep in mind, there is still a viral pandemic out there. We're mostly adults; let’s continue to be safe and keep that virus transmission rate down. Wear your mask, consider vaccination, wash your hands often. Being vaccinated is not a guarantee that you will not catch COVID-19. The risk is greatly reduced, but you can still spread it, you can still catch it, you can still have bad symptoms. Take care of each other!

Burning Mondays LIVE! +Art Talk

Monday, May 3, 2021 6pm

Burning Mondays has been online-only for a lot of months now, but with vaccines kicking in and restrictions easing up, the in-person meetup returns! Did you know there’s an Honoraria Grant winner right here in Las Vegas? We’ll talk with her about her art project and look at some of the other pieces destined for the next thing in the desert.

Our hosting venue, The Phoenix, will be giving us a special happy hour until 7pm and a free burlesque show at 9pm. Did you know the bar is currently non-smoking?
