Our annual regional burn event SNRG is almost here!
June 6-9, 2019 at Spicer Ranch in Beatty, NV.
Tickets and all other information are available here:
Southern Nevada Regional Gathering
This will be an interesting year. Following an accident with a classified government transport, the
ranch hands have reported some strange sightings around the property. A scientific Atomic Calamity Restoration group has been
working to identify and classify the alleged sightings, but they aren’t able to share all of their findings with
us at this time. All we really know is that they’re calling some bright-light anomalies Scattered Nuclear
Regression Gates, and any time one is spotted, unusual objects are close behind…

Our science friends at A.C.R. have left what they call a broken atom restoration device on site.
Apparently it is diligently working to repair sub-atomic damage to bring the ranch’s particle excitement
levels back to normal. We’ve been assured that it is very safe and not at all combustible. The immense
electromagnetic waves generated by the device have been known to induce visual disruptions as they collide
with light waves, causing nearby objects to appear twisted and distorted. Don’t be alarmed, the effects
are only temporary 🙂

We’ve encountered some oddities at Spicer Ranch in the past, but lately mountain bikers
visiting the property have claimed to see strange new creatures roaming between the
endangered frog pond and the cow pastures, moving toward the road. Mixed reports have us
very confused as to whether these creatures are just cows, large frogs magnified by the waters,
or in some cases… an elephant? Mythical creature “hunters” and enthusiasts have started to pour
in to catch a glimpse of what they’re calling the Fishbug. Any wild animal sightings should be
reported to the rangers.

People who have witnessed the floating bright lights on the property have begun
to exhibit irrational behavior in crowds, but they are easily brought
back to reality with a subtle reminder. We are asking all participants to be
particularly mindful of their actions and the way they treat each other. Things
to be aware of include, but are not limited to: physical or verbal violence;
harassment, including non-consensual interactions; coercion for sex, drugs, resources, etc;
sexual assault; theft; or vandalism. If you witness or experience any questionable incidents,
you are encouraged to contact Rangers, medical staff, or the manager on duty.
Also included in these behavioral standards, we ask that all participants request permission before
taking any photos of other people on the property. Several news reporters have disappeared after attempting to expose
the behind-the-scenes activities of the A.C.R., and until we can determine exactly where
they have gone, we’d just like to be sure that anyone who appears in a photograph has agreed to do so.
More info available in the culture section of the SNRG website.

Every week there is a Burner meetup in Las Vegas called Burning Mondays.
It’s a great time to meet fellow Burners, learn more about Burner art and events, and get involved!
Much of this year’s Burning Man art can be previewed at the 2019 Burning Man Art Installations page
Burning Man has put together a page full of resources designed to help people “do it right”
(be a productive citizen of Black Rock City, that is). It’s called Project Citizenship
